Local cities dominate list of top places to retire in Florida

    Cities in the tri-county area dominate a recently released WalletHub ranking of best places to retire in the Sunshine State, although Sarasota ranked No. 1.
    Boca Raton ranked close behind at No. 2, with Miami at No. 3. West Palm Beach ranked No. 6 and Fort Lauderdale was No. 9.
    The Washington, D.C.-based personal finance website created the list by weighing factors including cost of living and the share of the population aged 65 and older, health care facilities per capita, life expectancy and number of senior centers per capita.
